Shed the extra layer with these 3 moves!

Newsflash: Summer is just around the corner and so it is time to shed our winter layer. Add these 3 moves to your day and you are sure to get swim suit ready!

1. Cross Jack

Targets: Arms and legs

  • Stand with feet together and arms at your sides. Jump your feet about 2 feet wide as you raise arms overhead, crossing one wrist in front of the other.

  • Jump feet together, crossing one foot in front of the other as you cross arms in front of hips.

  • Continue for 1 minute switching arm and leg positions each time

2. Squat Jump

Targets: Legs and glutes

  • Stand shoulder width apart and squat down to touch the ground keeping your chest up

  • Jump up to touch the sky and land keeping your knees slightly bent and fall right back into the squat position touching the ground.

  • Continue for 1 minute

3. Mountain Climber

Targets: Abs and arms

  • Get into a push up position so your hands are directly under your shoulders keeping your body in a straight line from your shoulders to your ankles

  • Bring your right foot off the floor and slowly raise your knee as close to your chest as you can

  • Return to the starting position and repeat with your left leg

  • Continue alternating for 1 minute

Repeat all 3 moves 3x for a total of 9 minutes. Swimming pool here we come!
