A New Take On Tots!

Baked broccoli tots with only 7 ingredients! These tots are vegetarian and gluten free (but can easily be made dairy free, Paleo and within the Whole 30 plan by omitting the cheese). Broccoli is a great source of fiber, vitamin C and vitamin K and can help reduce cholesterol.


(Makes about 3 servings or 20 tots)

  • 2 cups broccoli, finely chopped (by hand or in food processor)

  • 1 egg, whisked

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese of choice (I used pepper jack)

  • 1 tbsp. basil

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Finely chop broccoli (by hand or in food processor) and combine with whisked egg, almond flour, cheese, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Mix well.

  3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with olive oil spray.

  4. Form broccoli mixture into balls and place on baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

  5. (Optional) Dip in mustard for a healthy snack!
