ThriveRD believes that in order to be the best you possible, we need to eat well, move often and manage stress. Founded by Kelsey Gonzalez, registered dietitian, ThriveRD combines nutrition, movement and mindful eating into personalized, realistic lifestyle changes that you can stick to for good.
Kelsey Gonzalez, RD, MDA
Kelsey Gonzalez is a registered dietitian with a master's degree in dietetics administration and has been working in the health and nutrition field for over a decade. She achieved her bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University and continued on to complete her dietetic internship through Utah State University, where she discovered her passion for nutrition counseling. After five years as a registered dietitian, Kelsey went back to school in order to pursue her master's degree in dietetic administration at Utah State University, where she focused on business management, entrepreneurship and counseling. She has worked in a variety of settings including weight loss counseling, corporate wellness and sports nutrition with collegiate athletes.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys hiking, baking, family outings to the beach and cooking for her family, especially trying out new recipes for her growing baby boy. She is extremely passionate about teaching others how to eat healthfully, prevent chronic disease and create healthy lifestyle changes. She has successfully taught numerous clients how to boost energy, feel great and thrive at any age.
